Acceptance Of Service

Hire of the vehicle is only accepted on the condition that the client understands and accepts the Samba Weddings terms and conditions and that they are entering either verbally or by writing into a legally binding contract of which payment of the deposit signifies such acceptance.

Samba Weddings reserve the right to refuse a booking if any person(s) behaves in a manner detrimental to any other person(s) or the vehicle(s) and its contents, in this case no further entry to the vehicle or onwards journey will commence and no refund will be given.

Payment - Once a route and all requirements have been established between Samba Weddings and the hirer a quotation will be provided, on approval of our quotation a £50 non-refundable deposit is then required to confirm the hire and reserve the date with the balance due 30 days prior to the hire. If the hire is within 30 days then the full balance is required. Payment can be made by Cheque or Bank Transfer to Samba Weddings, please contact us for bank transfer details.

Cancellations - All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the hire and a refund will be given minus the deposit.

Children - Due to changes in the law and the age of the vehicle(s) we are unable to transport any children under the age of 3. Please note that those vehicles that are fitted with seat belts are generally 2 point lap belts and not the intertia 3 point type belts you see in modern cars today. Children under 12 must use the seat belts provided as required by law. Further information can be found at http://www.childcarseats.org.uk/.

Damage - The hirer is liable for any damage caused to the vehicle by either themselves or any member of their party. The hirer will agree to be liable for the total retail cost of any repairs to rectify any damage caused and that Samba Weddings will determine the location of the repair. Samba Weddings will also levy a valet charge if the vehicle(s) are misused through food, drink or illness.

Lost Belongings - While every effort will be made to return any items found in the vehicle(s), Samba Weddings will not accept any liability for any items lost by the hirer or its party whilst using its services.

Smoking - We have a strict no smoking policy in all vehicle(s).

Serviceability - Due to the age of the vehicle(s) in the unlikely event of a breakdown or accident, Samba Weddings will make every effort to repair the vehicle or transfer the hirer to another vehicle so that the journey can continue and accept any reasonable costs incurred or a refund will be given. Samba Weddings cannot accept responsibility for missed connections and/or functions however caused.

Photographs - Samba Weddings would like to take photographs at your event so they may be used on our website and promotional material. If you prefer these photo's not to be used then please let us know prior to the engagement.

Misc - Due to the nature of the vehicle your chauffeur will not wear a uniform however we do dress appropriately in a smart suit. Large umbrellas are always carried if the unthinkable happens. Please be aware there is generally no heating available in these vehicles if you are considering using them in the colder months though we can provide blankets
